With over four years of experience creating our own show and helping dozens of business owners with their podcasts, we’ve learned what works and doesn’t.
With a love for producing electronic music, it wasn’t long before I fell in love with producing our original show, The Struggle is Real. We’ve helped thousands of young professionals navigate their early career, me included. I wouldn’t be where I’m at in life if Justin never picked up the mic and hit record. If you’re a podcast listener, you know what I’m talking about. There’s something about it that makes you feel connected to the host, like you know them, even if you’ve never met. I’ve experienced many of the benefits of podcasting firsthand, and now we’re on a mission to help podcasters find their voice so they can, too.
Lost and confused in my career path, I created a sabbatical for myself. With this newfound free time, I invested in a new project. I’d fallen in love with listening to podcasts and wondered if people would listen to my own. Initially, sharing something as personal as a podcast with the world was nerve-racking. Once I got into the practice of regularly posting, I realized that the people who needed it would listen, and those who didn’t wouldn’t judge me like I thought they would. I’m glad I took the leap. Four years later, I continue to host The Struggle is Real and have so much fun helping other entrepreneurs launch, edit, and grow their shows.
